Absolutely. Les Poulettes Paris certified organic cotton masks are compostable after use. Indeed, certified organic cotton is biodegradable and compostable by nature, so there's no need to worry about that.
The serum that soaks into the mask, which is Cosmos Organic certified, contains more than 99% naturally derived ingredients, developed using non-toxic processes, so it's also compostable !
The bags containing the masks are almost all made of metalloplastic, which is currently the most readily available material on the market for ensuring the preservation of single-dose cosmetic formulas, which require a perfect seal. This is also the case for all cosmetic samples.
We are constantly searching for better materials to protect the environment and further reduce our impact, both in the manufacturing and distribution of our products. We also want to take this commitment a step further by donating 1% of our annual revenue to the Tara Ocean Expedition Foundation. This organization conducts scientific expeditions to fight for the preservation of the marine ecosystem.
Les Poulettes was born in Paris and the brand embodies the Parisian spirit. It is therefore only natural that we manufacture all our products in France, ensuring traceability and production quality. We regularly visit our partner production site.
Our products are ECOCERT organic certified. Les Poulettes requires the COSMOS ORGANIC label for all their products. We have opted for this highly demanding standard and for certification granted by ECOCERT, an independent inspection body.
At Les Poulettes, we love and respect animals. We do not test on animals and none of our ingredients are derived from animal exploitation.
The products are distributed in several retail outlets: Le Printemps, La Samaritaine, Mademoiselle Bio, Naturalia, Nocibé, as well as in numerous beauty salons and pharmacies. We are constantly looking to develop our partnerships; if you are interested, please visit the Become a Distributor page.
Each product page includes a Customer Reviews section where you can share your experiences using the masks. Go to the product page and click on “Reviews” to read or leave a review.
How to use our products
The masks are made of fabric, or hydrogel for the eye patches. They are soaked with the equivalent of more than half a bottle of serum per mask, for maximum concentration.
Once applied to the face, they create a barrier against the outside environment, slowing the evaporation of the serum's aqueous phase for optimal hydration. Furthermore, prolonged contact of the active ingredients with the skin enhances their penetration for even greater effectiveness. Results are therefore visible more quickly than with a traditional mask. In just 10 minutes, results appear.
We have a page dedicated to the active ingredients used in the masks.
Each product page also displays details of the ingredients and active ingredients present.
The main active ingredients include hyaluronic acid, to boost hydration, aloe vera for its moisturizing and soothing properties, young barley shoot water, for its phyto-nutrients, Damask rose water, rich in vitamin C and essential fatty acids, etc.
The masks have an expiry date printed on their packaging.
We recommend leaving the product on for 10 to 15 minutes to allow the concentrated active ingredients time to work and for you to see initial results. After this time, it is also advisable to manually massage any excess product into the skin and not rinse it off, for optimal results.
There are no strict recommendations regarding the use of organic cotton masks, but it's best not to exceed once a day to allow each active ingredient to work properly. However, you can apply the masks several times a week without any problem.
You can safely use all our masks during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with the exception of the Anti-Fatigue formula which contains an essential oil.
Yes, absolutely, with the exception of the Anti-Fatigue Mask, which contains certified organic grapefruit essential oil. While it's in a low concentration, as a general rule, we advise pregnant women against using anything containing essential oils.
